Antares Auto Tune Live will work on any original tune, so just follow these simple steps: 1) Create an account by visiting https://soundcloud.com/signup 2) Upload the track to your library using "Add new." File size of uploaded tracks can not be greater than 10 MB. 3) Plug in instrument cables from an instrument to the first input channel of the interface (instrument 1). Plug in microphone cables from a microphone or other source to channel two (mic 2). 4) Run Auto-Tune Live on your computer. From "File" select "Open audio device...". Select the audio interface listed in the drop-down menu or if there is not one listed, browse your computer until you find the audio interface. 5) Once the interface is opened you can select either instrument 1 or mic 2 to process. After selecting an input click "ok" to load the track into Auto Tune Live's processing engine. 6) You can now use Auto Tune Live to process either instrument 1 or mic 2 using preset file mappings that are included along with the product installation files on the included .mp3 disc (see below). User-created Presets You can also create your own custom presets - or download them from the internet. There are many great presets online, but the two best sources are: 1) http://theproducerblog.com/2011/07/vocal-auto-tune-presets-for-autotune-live/ 2) http://antaresmusic.com/downloads/?page_id=719 These presets have both male and female vocal effects, so they will work equally well for men or women. If you use another preset, make sure to check the key of each effect to insure it works with your voice. Other vocal tools If you want to use an alternative vocal tool for your voice, instead of Antares Auto Tune Live, we would suggest you try VocaLive (http://www.getvolalive.com/). Like Auto Tune Live, this software uses the same Antares pitch correction algorithm, but it is specifically designed for singers and can emulate vibrato as well as using a "humanizing" mode designed to avoid the robotic sound that occurs with most pitch correction programs. VocaLive also has a free version available with fewer features than its paid version. VocaLive: http://www.getvolalive.com/ VocaLive Pro: http://vocalcheckout.com/vocal-tune-live-pro/ 5). Choose from the drop-down menu under "Instrument" to select whether you want to process instrument 1 or 2 (the first and second channels of the audio interface). Then click "ok" to load your track into Antares Auto Tune Live's processing engine. cfa1e77820
