Haunted is a 3D horror movie premiering on October 18th, a 2015 American supernatural horror film directed by Rupert Wyatt and written by Christopher Figg. Haunted is a story that begins with the death of Ashley Hughes (Heather Matarazzo). Her sister, Hannah (Julia Goldani Telles), investigates into her death after receiving strange e-mails from Ashley's laptop asking for help to escape the haunted before it kills her. The ghost she contacting lead her across all four corners of the world. As she meets all the people buried in cemeteries that are famous for having restless spirits. Each time she tries to contact the ghost again it disappears. She ends up in a place called "Hell" (The Impractical Jokers). The four jokers end up trapped there after making a bet with each other about the maximum amount of time they would be able to keep it together. After $10,000 is thrown into Hell, Anthony (Kevin 'Chocolate Factory' Smith), Murr (James 'Murr' Murray) and Q (Joe Gatto) lose their minds and start playing all kinds of outrageous games. Sal (Brian 'Q' Quinn) tries to get out of the place by looking for a way to lift the curse. He eventually ends up in the same place as Hannah, when she is all alone in there, he tries to help her escape . The two characters come across famous ghosts like Satan, Hitler, Rasputin and others including Ashley herself. Hannah has one more chance to contact Ashley... Rupert Wyatt confirmed that the film was already in post-production in early 2015. The film was originally set to be released in October 2014, but was later put back by a year after the studio "decided to take a little extra time with it because we want to make sure we get it right." Haunted received mostly negative reviews from Indian critics, but was praised for being a good attempt to bring out a "new" genre of ghost horror comedy to Bollywood along with being compared to Hollywood's Scary Movies.
